Planning an Alternative Break
Planning an AB Program is a collaborative effort between AJWS and the partnering campus organization.
The campus organization's staff person is responsible for recruitment, participant selection, management of administrative tasks (such as collecting payments and all necessary paperwork) and making flight arrangements on behalf of the group. With support from AJWS, they are also responsible for planning and leading the requisite orientations and follow-up sessions.
Each AB Program is comprised of 10-15 participants, including one staff member from the partnering organization. Additionally, AJWS assigns two “group leaders” to accompany the group.
