About RSD
The Rabbinical Students' Delegation (RSD) is an integral part of AJWS' commitment to creating an inter-denominational network of rabbinical students and rabbis dedicated to global social justice. The program offers a unique opportunity for participants to live and work alongside AJWS grantees in the developing world for a period of 10 – 14 days and engage in:
- Service - working on a community development project
- Learning - studying Jewish texts and ideas that integrate social justice, human rights and volunteer service
- Cross-Cultural Exchange - living, working and playing with the local community
- Community - creating a pluralistic community of future rabbis committed to global justice
