  • Do you have demonstrated leadership experience?
  • Have you traveled or lived abroad? Are you comfortable traveling by yourself and living on your own in a developing country?
  • Can you work in an environment with a high degree of ambiguity and uncertainty?
  • Would you like to explore your Jewish identity in the context of human rights and social justice?
  • Are you interested in being an active participant in a peer-learning community?
  • Do you have a professional or personal interest in development issues in the region to which you’re considering applying?
  • Are you available for the full length of the fellowship?
  • If you’re interested in the fellowship in Central America, are you proficient in Spanish?
