HIV/AIDS Awareness Project & Youth Development (HAPYD)

HAPYD was established in 2000 to work with HIV-positive children who have lost one or both parents to AIDS. The organization provides families with referrals to counseling and welfare services, emergency food, and transportation costs to and from daycare, and is expanding its programs to include home-based care, income-generation projects and other activities.
