Founded in 2001, SCOEWBA aims to increase women's participation in social development and politics and to raise awareness among women about their rights. The organization also provides information about HIV/AIDS prevention and care, improves children's access to education, and works to prevent trafficking, decrease violence against women, and to cooperate with other organizations working for democracy in Burma.
