Founded in 1983, the Bhavnagar Blood Bank is the principal supplier of blood in the Bhavnagar district. The mission of the organization is to distribute safe blood and oversee its use, as well as to raise awareness about preventing and treating contagious diseases, especially HIV/AIDS.
